Tajín: Located in the north of the state, 14 km from Papantla and 16 km from Poza Rica with a route through Costa Esmeralda, we find the most important pre-Hispanic city of the Totonac culture: Tajin "Place of the God of Thunder" on a surface of 12 hectares 168 buildings are raised, which constitute one of the most important political-religious centers.
We will admire 41 of them, among which the majestic pyramid of the Niches and the Plaza de Arroyo stand out. It is the pre-Hispanic city with the largest number of ball games, totaling 17.

Papantla: Known for the ritual of "los Voladores de Papantla" and the production of the aromatic Vanilla, it is also a Magical Town of Mexico for keeping its ancestral traditions and folklore up to date, such as the color of the typical costumes of its communities.

At the end of the tour, the operator returns them to the same Hotel.

Reception in the lobby at 8:00 am at your hotel to begin our tour to the Moral Reforma Tabasco Archaeological Zone, which is located 1.40 hrs from Palenque. It receives this name because of the abundance of moral trees and because it is located in the municipality of Reforma, a small village site of great importance that controlled trade between Petén and the Gulf Coast, along the San Pedro River, for 1,700 years. Splendid paired pyramids (in pairs) attest to this, as do filigree inscriptions that establish their alliance with Calakmul and Palenque. We can climb each of the mounds where we will have spectacular views. Estimated visit time 1:30 hrs.
Then we will continue 1.30 hrs. On the way to the Pomoná Archaeological Zone, upon arriving at the site a short walk awaits us that will connect you with nature, the sound of howler monkeys, birds and also the tranquility that the site offers, there the ancient Mayans obtained material to build their buildings and sculptural monuments; Pomoná takes its name from the tributary stream of the lower Usumacinta. Rich steles, sculptures, panels and hieroglyphic inscriptions allow you to learn about the history of its rulers and the relationships it maintained with other cities in the region. Approximate visit time is 1 hour.
We will continue with our last visit, traveling 1 hour to reach the El Salto Ecotourism Center where its emerald green waters and its impressive waterfall will captivate your senses, the waterfall of approximately 20 meters. It welcomes you from one of its three viewpoints, where you can enjoy a panoramic view and an extraordinary natural landscape. To get to the foot of it you need to walk a 400-meter path. On site there is a restaurant where you can taste some typical dishes from the area. At the end we will return to their respective hotels in Palenque, estimated time to arrive 1 hour.

Departure from Palenque

We will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel at 5:30 am, we will start the journey for an hour and a half by road to reach the restaurant where you will have the buffet breakfast, then we will continue to the border on the Mexican side, there we will take a boat along the Usumacinta River and we will navigate downriver for 45 minutes to reach Yaxchilán where they will have a 2-hour visit.
They will return 1 hour in the same boat to the border for lunch.
We will continue to the archaeological zone of Bonampak, the visit will be 45 min, 8 km before arriving at the site we will change vehicles since the Lacandones have their own units to transport us, after the visit we finally transfer to the hotel in Palenque on a schedule estimated 08:00 p.m.
