Campeche, a state full of natural beauties.

Much of its beauty can be observed along its coasts, where you can find a variety of activities to explore and have unforgettable experiences.

Campeche has the largest biosphere reserve in all of Mexico "Los Petenes", an amazing place for the mangrove tunnels, the fresh water springs and the small islands that make it up, it also joins the Ría Celestún biosphere reserve, its wetlands are home to many animal species, including the elegant pink flamingo. And to continue enjoying nature, take a tour of the coast of the Terminos lagoon, a former refuge for pirates that today has become a beautiful natural sanctuary that houses marine species such as bottle-mouth dolphins and various species of birds.

In an immersion towards its jungles, it presents part of its history during the times of the Mayan civilization, in this state are the archaeological zones of Calakmul, the most important of this region, Balamkú, Edzná, Santa Rosa Xtampak, Los Chenes a wells region where one of the most beautiful architectural styles of the Mayan area developed.

Its capital, San Francisco de Campeche, known as the only walled city in Mexico, history tells that it was the place of constant pirate attacks and for that reason fortresses were built to defend against attacks. Nowadays it is possible to visit and admire these constructions.

And its museums full of history, colonial houses and buildings, traditional neighborhoods and all the typical gastronomy that you can find anywhere you visit cannot go unnoticed.
