Our tour begins with the archaeological zone of Monte Albán, Arrazola, a town of artisans famous for its copal wood figures, Cuilapam de Guerrero, a former Dominican monastery from the 16th century, San Bartolo Coyotepec known for its famous black clay. We also visit the famous largest tree El Tule, the archaeological zone of Mitla, the Zapotec town of weavers Teotitlán del Valle, we will stop at a Mezcalería, to learn about this mystical drink, learn about its manufacturing process and taste some of the different flavors of mezcal, as well as the famous Hierve el Agua waterfalls. Finally, a walk through the city of Oaxaca visiting the Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, a tourist walkway, we will see the portals of the center, in the Garden of the Constitution.

Day 1 - International Airport Oaxaca - Oaxaca de Juárez - Arrival transfer

Transfer service from Xoxocotlán International Airport to hotel in Oaxaca de Juárez

The pick up time for the transfer will depend on the arrival time of the flight. The operator will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with the name of the passenger in order to identify you.

Day 2 - Monte Albán - Arrazola - Cuilápam de Guerrero - San Bartolo Coyotepec - Shared tour

Shared tour service. Departure time: 9:00 a.m. Return time: 17:00 p.m.

We will go to your hotel in Oaxaca to pick you up to start our tour to the archaeological zone of Monte Albán, the great urban center built by the Zapotec culture.
We will visit Arrazola, a town of artisans, famous for its fantastically carved and painted Copal wood figures, which are exhibited and sold as "Alebrijes".
We will visit Cuilapam de Guerrero, a former Dominican monastery from the 16th century. Where the Open Chapel stands out.
Our last visit will be San Bartolo Coyotepec, known worldwide for the famous black clay. At the end we return to the city of Oaxaca.

Day 3 - El Tule - Teotitlán del Valle - Zona arqueológica de Mitla - Hierve el Agua - Mezcal Factory - Shared tour

We will go to your hotel in Oaxaca to pick you up to start our tour to the famous El Tule tree, the thousand-year-old ahuehuete, the widest tree in the world, weighing 509 tons. We will go to Teotitlán del Valle, a Zapotec town of weavers who use ancestral techniques to make and paint their rugs, shaping their own designs.
We will visit the archaeological zone of Mitla, a city that achieved the evolution of Zapotec architecture. Its name means "place of the dead". The extraordinary decoration in fretwork on its walls stands out. Mitla, is now one of the 6 magical towns of Oaxaca.
We will see the spectacular petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua, one 30 m high and the other 12 m, formed by carbonated water that falls from springs located at the top of the rocks. Our last one will be a Mezcal factory where we will learn about the process of this drink, and we will enjoy a tasting of the different flavors.

Day 4 - Oaxaca de Juárez - Free day

Enjoy a free day in Oaxaca City.

Explore the city at your own pace, visit the museums, the ethnobotanical garden and the occasional mezcalería in the city. Taste the typical food of Oaxaca in some of its restaurants in the center, walk through its pedestrian streets. Do not forget to visit the souvenir shops.

Day 5 - Oaxaca de Juárez - Private service

Private tour service. Morning time: 10:00 am / Afternoon time: 16:00 pm

The meeting point is at the Exconvent of Santo Domingo in Oaxaca, you must arrive 10 minutes before the start time.

Our tour begins by visiting the Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, a monumental architectural complex of the Dominican Order, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful examples of baroque in Mexico.
We continue on foot along the Tourist Walkway, from Santo Domingo de Guzmán to the center of the City, where various museums, galleries, craft shops and restaurants are located.
In the center we can enjoy the Music Band and Marimba, which play in the Kiosk of the Zócalo, we will visit the portals of the center, in the Garden of the Constitution.
Continuing our tour on foot, we will arrive at a chocolate shop, where in addition to learning how Oaxacan chocolate is made, we can make our own grinding.
We will visit the Benito Juárez market, the most traditional in the city, where you can buy the famous “Mole oaxaqueño” (oaxacan mole), quesillo and chapulines. Then we will go into the 20 de noviembre market where we will see the famous “Pasillo de Humo” (smoke hall).

We will go to your hotel in Oaxaca to transfer you to the Oaxaca International Airport and take your departure flight.
The pick up of the transfer will depend on the departure time of the flight. Remember that you must be at the airport at least 2 hours before the departure of your flight.
